Young receptionist on night shift was really helpful and jolly. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
Distance from jfk - cost approx 36 usd in taxi each way. Odd animal smell in hotel. No internet computer terminal.
The price was not the same as at bookimg.com. Manager take from us an additional 18% fee without any reasonable explanation
hotel personal was extremely friendly&useful! love pet friendly policy, love late check out! nice free parking, free wi-fi internet, very good price/quality combination! breakfast as everywhere in US - nothing special, but all of this was very clean&nice. My bed&towels were fresh and new.
very noisy in day time - especially personal's radio. apples on breakfast were not fresh
very good staff)))
i'd like to have a very big breakfast with meat fry eggs fresh vegetables fish salads and etc.
The room, while small, is laid out very well and gives you the sense of space.
The elevator is horribly slow, I mean, really really bad!!! This, alone, will keep me from coming back
Rooms are small but very comfortable, all you need is there (no bar though!)
No reception/ Bar to sit down and work
The location explained on the web and the actual was not true...its too far and the hotel staff did not help when I called in, when i finally arrived in the hotel, he was busy eating but he had no time to explain taxi driver end up i paid double of what I had to pay
It was peaceful and quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable.
nice area, close to train station (5 min walk). The LIRR train comes only once every hour when off peak but you are at Penn Station in 35 minutes for about 6 bucks (when buying a ten trip off peak ticket). Internet access is excellent and free.
walls are thin, you can hear everything in the adjacent rooms. It is not an issue if your neighbor is not a crazy idiot. Breakfast is minimal or even less. No laundry service.
I like this hotel very much. Its self-service breakfast is very convenient and the hotel is very clean.
Great staff especially Aman Kapoor and the lady at the morning breakfast
The bed was very comfortable and it was a convenient location for our needs - close to train station and expressway. There was a nice selection of hot breakfast foods, though not nearly enough for the holiday weekend. The price was very reasonable.
The hot food items and pastries ran out half way through the service period, and were not re-stocked. This should have easily been anticipated knowing the hotel was so full for the long Labor Day weekend. The room was very small so I would not recommend this hotel for more than 2 travelers since only 2 of their rooms are big enough for 2 double beds and the roll-away we needed for 2 of our 4 nights barely fit in a single queen room even after we moved some furniture.
The guy at the reception really helped us out with getting cabs, he did a great job with that. While I was tryna get my luggage into my room, the facilities guy stopped and brought in all 4 suitecases, and so cheerfully too. Its the small things that I noticed the most.
Didnt really like the location, but it was ok for a one night passing by experience.
Location(near to jfk), price, pet friendly hotel, free parking&internet
Too noisily if your room on the road side awful smell from breakfast hall if your room on the same floor
Only room available in the area because a severe snowstorm cancelled flights at jfk.
Small room. Not worth the $170/night (after taxes). A bit drafty, heating system only fair.
